Sticky Korean Meatballs

Sticky, sweet and with a lovely kick of spice!
Here’s another easy, yet flavour exploding Korean recipe! It pairs wonderfully with steamed rice. Try my recipe below! And guess what, it’s ready in 20 minutes! 💥

Ingredients
20 Mini beef meatballs (pre made seasoned or make your own)
For the sauce –
2 tbsp Sesame oil
1 tsp Garlic, minced
1 tsp Ginger, finely grated
1/4 cup Soy sauce
3 tbsp Gochujang
1 tsp Gochugaru
3 tbsp Dark brown soft sugar

Garnish – Fresh coriander, spring onion greens, sesame seeds and finely chopped red chillies (optional).

Method
Step 1 – In a large pan, on medium heat, add the oil, once hot, add the meatballs, stir fry for 10 minutes and have browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Step 2 – In the same pan, add the garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant. Next add all of the remaining ingredient’s, stir, and then turn the heat down to low. In a few minutes the sauce will thicken. Now add the meatballs into the sauce. Sauté for a few minutes, coating the meatballs well. Add 3 tbsp water to loosen up the sauce if desired.

Step 3 – Garnish and serve with steamed basmati rice! Enjoy! 💥
