Sticky Garlic & Chilli Tofu 🌶

A simple tofu recipe and one of my favourite ways to cook it!
Sticky, sweet, spicy and garlicky! This recipe creates an explosion of flavours in your mouth, leaving you craving more!

Ingredients
280g Firm Tofu, cut into bite sized pieces
7 Garlic cloves, minced/grated
1/2 inch piece Ginger, finely grated
1 tbsp Chilli flakes (or to taste)
1/2 cup Soy sauce
1/2 cup Sweet soy sauce
1 tbsp Sambal olek
Sesame seeds
1 Spring onion, thinly sliced
2-3 tbsp Sesame oil

Method
Step 1 – In a pan or wok, on medium heat, add the oil, once hot, add the garlic and ginger. Fry till fragrant. Next add the chilli flakes and fry for minute.

Step 2 – Now add the soy sauce, sweet soy sauce and sambal olek. Turn the heat down and simmer for a few minutes.

Step 3 – Add the tofu to the pan and turn the heat up, stir fry for 5-6 minutes. Remove from the heat and top with sesame seeds and spring onions! Serve with noodles or rice! Enjoy!
