Gochujang Noodles 🍜

Here’s a quick and tasty lunch or dinner noodles recipe, giving off those delicious Korean flavours! Top it off with a fried egg or your favourite protein!

Ingredients – serves 2/3
250g Egg noodles
2 tbsp Sesame oil
4 Garlic cloves, finely sliced
1/4 cup Gochujang paste
3 tbsp Dark soy sauce
2 tsp Brown sugar
Fried eggs, with chilli oil drizzled on top (optional)
Sesame seeds, Spring onions, red chillies and fresh coriander to garnish.

Step 1 – In a large pan, on medium heat, add the sesame oil. Once hot, add the garlic and sauté still golden. Next add the gochujang paste and sauté for a minute. Then add the soy sauce and brown sugar. Turn the heat down, stir for a few minutes, it will thicken. Turn of the heat and set aside.

Step 2 – Cook the noodles as per packets instructions, drain. Add 2 tbsp water to the sauce to loosen and then add the noodles to it, gently stir to combine!

Step 3 – Top with sesame seeds, spring onions, coriander, red chillies and a fried egg! Enjoy!!!!
