Get your butter out, we’re making garlic bread – Herbed Butter Garlic Confit Bre

Get your butter out, we’re making garlic bread – Herbed Butter Garlic Confit Bread!!

Bread and butter are a timeless combo, but when you add in the garlic confit and the fresh herbs, it’s just magic ✨

Making herbed butter is super easy!! I used @anchordairy.us Organic CarbonZero ™ Certified Butter for this one and mixed it with basil, parsley, and chives. I love that it’s a sustainable choice when it comes to butter — their New Zealand on-farm carbon footprint is approximately 1/3rd the global average, and they’re committed to working with their farmers to reduce emissions even further.

RECIPE (makes 8)
Garlic Confit
2 cups of garlic cloves, pre-peeled
3 sprigs rosemary
2 cups olive oil
Pinch of salt

Herbed Butter
½ cup Anchor Organic CarbonZero ™ Salted Butter, softened at room temperature
10 cloves of the garlic confit
1 ½ tbsp chopped basil
11/2 tbsp chopped parsley
1 tbsp chopped chives
Pinch of salt

Assembly
1 large French baguette
Grated Parmesan

To make garlic confit, preheat oven to 300 F. Add garlic cloves to an oven safe dish along with rosemary, olive oil, and a pinch of salt. Bake for 1 hour until cloves are tender, and be sure to let cook as quickly as possible and refrigerate immediately.

To make herb butter, add your room temp butter to a bowl along with about 10 cloves of the garlic confit, all your herbs, and a pinch of salt. Mash/mix together with a fork until everything is evenly combined and butter is smooth.

Increase your oven temperature to 350 F. Cut your baguette in half lengthwise, and then slice each half into 4 pieces. Add to a parchment lined baking sheet, and spread the herbed garlic butter evenly on each of the pieces. Add a sprinkle of grated Parmesan onto each piece. Bake for 10-20 minutes or until butter is fully melted and bread is crispy and golden.
