Garlic Parmesan Chicken Tenders

Crispy, cheesy, garlicky chicken tenders!! Cooked to perfection in the air fryer!

Ingredients – makes 9 tenders
400g Chicken breast, cut into thick strips
1 tbsp Chicken seasoning

For dredging-
Plain flour
Panko breadcrumbs
2 eggs, beaten

For the sauce-
5 tbsp Unsalted Butter
1 tbsp Garlic, minced
1/4 tsp Crushed chilli flakes (optional)
2 tbsp Fresh parsley, finely chopped
1/4 cup Parmesan, finely grated

Method
Step 1 – In a bowl, add the chicken strips then mix in the seasoning. Coat well.

Step 2 – Take a strip and coat it in flour, then egg and then the panko breadcrumbs, set aside. Continue with the remaining chicken strips.

Step 3 – Set your air fryer to 190C, and spray the tray with a little oil. Place the chicken tenders in a single layer. Cook for 16 minutes, turning half way through.

Step 4- When then tender are almost done- Prepare the sauce – In a pan, on low heat, add the butter, once melted, add the garlic and sauté till fragrant. Now add the chilli flakes if using and parsley, sauté for a further minute. Remove from the heat.

Step 5 – Once the cooking cycle is done. Check the chicken is cooked through and remove from the air fryer. Add them to large bowl, pour over the sauce and then sprinkle over the parmesan. Toss well to combine. Serve with sour cream or your favourite dip! Enjoy!
