Creamy Gochujang Pasta

Creamy, cheesy, spicy pasta! Ready in 15 minutes and bursting with Korean flavours…you’ll want to save this one!

Ingredients
200g Fusilli or pasta of your choice
1 tbsp Sesame oil
1 tsp Garlic, minced
2 tbsp Gochujang paste
1 cup Double cream
1/4 tsp Gochugaru
1/4 cup Parmesan, finely grated
1 cup Pasta water
Garnish with Fresh basil leaves

Method
Step 1 – Cook your pasta as per packets instructions, reserve 1 cup of the pasta water and drain the rest.

Step 2 – In a large pan, on medium heat, add the sesame oil. Once hot, add the garlic and sauté till fragrant. Next add the gochujang paste and sauté for 1 minute. Now add the cream, gochugaru and pasta water. Stir well. Once the sauce has heated through stir in the Parmesan and pasta.

Step 3 – Top with fresh basil and some more parmesan! serve immediately! Enjoy
