Chana Chaat ☀️

Mostly eaten in warm weather and in countries like Pakistan and India, this chickpea and potato salad concoction is sweet,spicy and zingy!
Perfect for a snack or lunch! I could eat it all dayyyy! Best served cold (very cold…)

Ingredients
400g Chickpeas (tinned, drained)
250g Baby potatoes, peeled and boiled for 10 minutes, cooled and cut into bite sized pieces
1/2 Lemon, juiced
1 Red onion, diced
2 Tomatoes, diced (discard seeds)
Fresh coriander, chopped
1 tbsp Chaat Masala
1/2 cup Natural yogurt
1/4 cup Tamarind sauce
1 Green chilli, sliced, optional

Method

In a large serving dish, add the potatoes, chickpeas, tomatoes, onions, 2 tbsp of chopped coriander, lemon juice and the chaat masala, stir well.
Next drizzle over the yogurt and tamarind sauce. Top with more coriander, green chillies and a little sprinkle of chaat masala.
Refrigerate for an hour and serve!
So easy!
