Ingredients
Oil – for frying
500g Cod or haddock (skinless/boneless) cut into bite sized pieces or as pictured
4 tbsp Gram Flour
1 tbsp Corn flour
1 tbsp Plain flour
1 tbsp Garlic paste
1 tsp Ginger paste
1 Lemon, juiced
1/2 tsp Pomegranate powder (optional)
1 tsp Garam masala
1 tsp Red chilli powder
1/2 tsp Cumin powder
1/2 tsp Coriander powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 Black pepper

Method
Step 1 – In a bowl, add all the dry ingredients, garlic, ginger paste and lemon juice.Whilst mixing, slowly add small amounts of water until you reach a thick enough consistency to coat the fish. Add the fish and mix in well.

Step 2 – Now add enough oil in a large pan for deep frying, turn the heat to high, once hot, add the coated fish 1 at a time, fry for around 6 minutes, turning half way or until cooked through. Place on a paper towel to drain any extra oil and serve!
