Here’s my super easy and tasty fish dish, Tandoori Trout 🐟, best served with basmati rice and a spicy pickle.🔥

Ingredients
700-800g Trout fillet, washed and gently patted dry 🐟 (gifted from @britishtrout )
2 tbsp Tandoori masala – spice mix
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tbsp Yogurt
1/2 Lemon, juiced
1 tbsp Oil
Fresh coriander, chopped
1 Green/red Chilli, finely diced (optional)
Lemon wedges, optional

Method
Step 1 – In a small bowl, add the tandoori masala, turmeric, yogurt, lemon juice and oil. Stir well to combine. Line a large baking tray with parchment paper and spray with a little oil. Gently place down the trout fillet (skin side down) and coat well on both sides with the masala paste.

Step 2 – Heat oven to 220C/200C fan/ gas mark 7. Once hot, place the tray on the middle shelf and bake for 20 minutes or until the fish has cooked through. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh coriander and chillies! Serve with basmati rice! Enjoy! 🐟
