Honey BBQ Chicken Tenders
Crispy chicken tenders, made in the air fryer! 💥 Glazed in a sticky honey, bbq sauce 🤤. Serve with your favourite dip!

Ingredients – makes 9 tenders
400g Chicken breast, cut into thick strips
1/2 tsp of each – onion granules, garlic granules, smoked paprika, black pepper and salt.
For dredging-
Corn flakes, crushed
2 eggs, beaten
For the glaze-
1 tbsp Unsalted Butter
1 Garlic clove, minced
1/2 cup Bbq sauce
1 1/2 tbsp Honey
Method –
Step 1 – In a bowl add the chicken strips, mix in all of the seasonings, coating them well.
Step 2 – Take a strip, dip it in the egg and then the cornflakes, set aside. Continue with the remaining chicken strips.
Step 3 – Set your air fryer to 190C, and spray the tray with a little oil. Place the chicken tenders in a single layer. Cook for 16 minutes, turning half way through.
Step 4- Whilst you’re waiting for the chicken to cook- In a pan, on medium heat, add the butter, once hot, add the garlic and sauté till fragrant. Add the bbq sauce and honey. Stir to combine. Simmer for 2 minutes. If you would like to loosen it up a little, add a tbsp of water. Remove from the heat and set aside.
Step 5 – Once the cooking cycle is done. Check the chicken is cooked through and remove from the air fryer. Dip the chicken tenders in the sauce or glaze with a brush. Serve with your favourite dip! Enjoy!
